Commercials, advertisements, and media coverage are already being planned for the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympic games. Chicago is one of the cities trying to earn the privilege to be the host of the 2016 summer games. The Olympics is a time for athletes all over the world to come together and show their pride in their country as well as the hard work they put into their sport. As such coverage occurs leading up to and during these events; we will become more familiar with the athletes, events, countries, and the sponsoring city. The Summer Olympics would give Chicago, Illinois the opportunity to welcome new people who are visiting and/or participating in the Olympics to see the beauty of the Chicagoland area and show them what makes Chicago so special.

Your assignment is to design a postcard for the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympics if they are possibly held in Chicago. Your design can focus on the events, athletes, and countries involved in the Olympics. It can also represent what makes Chicago and/or the United States so special to you. Please use color!
