Art Club!!!!
Dear Parents and 5th Grade Students,
The month of October's activities will be available for 5 th grade students only. All fifth grade students are welcome to participate. Our meeting times for this month will be on Wednesday October 3rd , Wednesday October 10th , and Wednesday October 24th . However based on the number of participants, additional days may be added.
The 5th grade activity will be Charcoal Drawing. Students will have the opportunity to work with various types of charcoal and art tools to create a still life and gestured drawings.
Students who would like to participate will need to pay a $5.00 lab fee. The lab fee will cover the costs of materials students will be using during the Art Club activity.
All Art Club activities will be at Prairieview School starting at 2:30p.m. and will end at 3:45p.m. STUDENTS ARE TO BE PICKED UP PROMPTLY AT 3:45p.m. If you are interested in participating in this after school activity, please fill out the permission slip below, enclose the $5.00 lab fee, and return it to Miss Smeltzer by Friday September 28th . After all permission slips have been received, a schedule will be created and delivered to remind you of our meeting times.
If you need to car pool with someone, please have your parent name the person(s) at the bottom of the permission slip (please no more than 2 others). I look forward to having a lot of fun with you.
