5th Grade: One Point Perspective and Mask Making-Our next project will begin by creating block letters that will turn into one-point perspective projects. Once we get this activity under way, we will begin prepping and creating plaster masks.

***The plaster gauze we use is similar to the type they use on casts for broken bones.  Plaster gauze can make the room quite dusty, if you are concerned about your child's health due to asthma or allergies relating to dust, please let me know.  I will be discussing the same with the fifth grade classes, any child not comfortable working with plaster will work in the hallway to create a  paper mache' mask instead.
