April 23rd Elizabeth Ide Open House

Thank you for the wonderful turn-out at the Prairieview Open House! It was so nice to see everyone!!!

1st Grade: The Scream by Edvard Munch-Students will be exploring what they are afraid of by learning about the artist Edvard Munch and his famous painting The Scream. Students are begining to add a touch of color to their images!

2nd Grade: Gyotaku Fish Prints- Students will then learn about the printmaking process while learning about Japanese Gyotaku fish printing.

3rd Grade: Panthers on Parade- Students will be using our school mascot the 'Prairieview Panther' to learn about working with clay as a medium. Students will learn about the clay process of reliefs.

4th Grade: Printmaking and Weaving- Students will be learning about the printmaking process. Students are continuing to create their plates and begin printing.

5th Grade: Self Portraits- Student are completing the facial features of their self portrait and will soon begin using animal characteristics to add a twist to their designs.
