Art Events

January Mystery Artist Clues
1. He was born in New York City in 1894. He received his first assignments as an illustrator when he was a teenager.
2. The cover of The Saturday Evening Post was his showcase for over forty years, giving him an audience larger than that of any other artist in history.
3. He also painted a great number of pictures for story illustrations, advertising campaigns, posters, calendars, and books.
4. His pictures chronicled, (a record of events), the introduction of radio and television, automobile and airplane travel, and even flights to the moon.

Friday, February 1st Artwork drop off at Eisenhower Jr. High between 4:30-6:30pm
Sunday, February 3rd Creative Youth Art Fair from 2:00-3:30pm
Award presentation at 3:30
