1st Grade: Hello to my Monday students! I finally get to meet you!!!
Students will continue to study the illustrator Maurice Sendak and create their own Wild Thing Creature.
2nd Grade: Hello to my Monday Second grade students! We will be working on 'The Dot' by author and illustrator, Peter H. Reynolds. We will be transforming our dots into images.
3rd Grade: Students will begin tranforming their selected word/name into a Kaleidoscope design.
4th Grade: We're busy abstracting ourselves into Picasso Portraits
5th Grade: Students are busy selecting their characters for their 'American Gothic Parodies.' Extra Credit for fifth Grade is to find an American Gothic Parody. I will accept parodies the entire school year! Students will also be getting information this week about upcoming art folder assignments that will begin the week of September 22, 2008.
