ATTENTION ALL 3-6TH GRADE ART STUDENTS
The Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Authority of Northern Illinois is sponsoring their annual Water Conservation Poster Contest. This year the theme is Be Water Friendly---Make Every Drop Count! If students are interested, information flyers are in the Art Room. All posters must be turned into Miss Smeltzer by Wednesday October 8th.
1st Grade: We're finishing up our Wild Things and will be starting Nez Perce Cornhusk bags
2nd Grade: We're beginning to study George Seurat and his style of pointillism.
3rd Grade: We're finishing our Kaleidoscope designs and will be starting Japanese Landscapes.
4th Grade: Picasso Portraits...we're almost done!
5th Grade: American Gothic Parodies...still working hard!

According to Webster's Dictionary, a flag is typically a rectangular piece of cloth marked with distinctive colors and designs. A flag is used as a symbol of a nation or organization. Your assignment is to design a flag to represent our school. Tis flag should be a symbol of who we are as a school and what we are proud of.
